If you have an EPC rated 'D', should you make improvements now or wait?

Properties with an EPC rating of 'D' or lower will become non-compliant with new incoming minimum energy efficiency standards.

So, if you're a landlord, what should you be doing now?

Start making improvements immediately? Wait a couple of years? Or sit tight until 2030 gets closer?
