We're still busy renting HMO properties!

CPS Homes - HMO Specialists - Estate and Letting agent in CardiffDespite huge amounts of uncertainty this week, we've still managed to rent 14 HMO properties to students.

With universities postponing exams until the second half of the year and moving lectures online, many students are returning home soon, so it's perhaps caused them to think "this is it – I won't be in Cardiff again until next academic year, so I need to sort out my new house before I leave".

In these uncertain times, there's an argument to say that student tenants are a landlord’s surest bet, given their student loans will be unaffected and they typically have financial guarantors.

We are, of course, monitoring Government guidelines very carefully and taking the utmost care towards staff and tenants to minimise the risk of Coronavirus. Where houses are self-isolating, we are not entering and are being respectful of every tenant's wishes. We will continue to review our procedures where necessary.
