Merry Christmas from everyone at CPS Homes!

Gingerbread houseWhere has 2016 gone? It's hard to believe that we're writing another Christmas blog; it feels like only yesterday that we wrote our one for 2015! 12 months on, and here we are with a brand new website, and we have to say, it feels like 2016 was our best year to date!

What a year it's been, not only for us here at CPS Homes, but for landlords, tenants, and the property market in general. Along with the new website, which we're quite proud of if we do say so ourselves, we’ve been busy helping hundreds of buyers and renters secure their dream property, and as Cardiff’s largest letting agent and student accommodation provider, we've already housed thousands of students for the next academic year.

That’s not all though, we’ve also been busy bringing you the latest news about changes to how landlords conduct business in general, to more local happenings, including the restriction of HMOs in Cathays and Rent Smart Wales, and we look forward to bringing you the latest news about the property market and Cardiff in 2017!

Before we look towards 2017 however, we’re going to relax over the festive period with family and friends, and as a result, our offices will have limited opening hours over the Christmas period to allow all of our dedicated staff to take a load off and enjoy the festivities with their families and friends.

Christmas opening hours

Over the festive period this year, all three of our offices will share the same Christmas opening hours, so make sure to note them down in your diary. All of our Cardiff offices will open between 10am and 2pm on Thursday 22nd December and Friday 23rd December before closing for the festive period. All of our offices will reopen again on 28th December until 30th December between 10am and 2pm. The offices will then be closed again between New Year’s Eve and 2nd January, before opening as normal from 3rd January 2017.

A Christmas emergency

If you have an emergency in your property over the Christmas holiday, whether you’re a landlord or tenant, you can get in touch by calling our emergency number: 02920 668585, and we will be able to provide you with assistance over the festive period.

All that’s left to say is that all of us here at CPS Homes want to wish our tenants, property sellers, investors, and landlords a fantastic festive break and we look forward to seeing you all again in the new year!
