2014 lettings figures up by 14%

We're delighted to announce that the 2014 calendar year saw us rent almost 14% more units than in 2013.

Our Woodville Road, Cathays branch, servicing the northern and eastern parts of Cardiff, rented 13.6% more units in 2014, which – somewhat spookily – is exactly the same improvement seen by our James Street, Cardiff Bay branch, covering southern and western areas of the city.

Rhys Owen, Lettings Manager at our Cathays branch, said: "We've had another great year. We've built on last year’s record year and again recorded substantial growth to our already huge market share. Our client and business retention is extremely high, which is perhaps down to near-100% all-year-round property occupancy, as well as our speed of letting. We invest heavily in our staff, marketing and our overall structure, and our clients are reaping the rewards along with us."

"Since moving to a bigger and better Cathays premise in late 2012, where our lettings, maintenance and inspections teams are all under the same roof, we've established ourselves as Cardiff's biggest private housing provider. The figures are testament to the hardworking team we have in place", Rhys went on to say.

Bradley Young, who manages our James Street, Cardiff Bay branch, said: "Maybe it's down to our extensive marketing, but we simply can't source enough available property to meet with the number of prospective tenants we get 'through the door'."

"Due to the sheer number of people looking to move to the area, we’re almost always well-placed to secure tenants within days of marketing their property, which means landlords regularly come back to us when their property is due to fall empty again. Word of mouth is the most powerful tool there is, and we’re finding more and more landlords coming to us through positive recommendation alone. It's fantastic to see", Bradley concluded.
