Clwb Cymric v Memory Lane - CPS Sponsored Side

The 2nds endured a tough match on Thursday night in Pontcanna by losing 3-0 to league leaders and promotion candidates Memory Lane. The visitors took the lead after 15 mins with a quality one touch finish goal. Afer 30 mins things got worse for the home side when a corner was whipped in but Cymric players forgot to mark their opponents and were punished 2-0.

After half time the home side managed to create a few chances and were given a penalty kick at the hour mark which was missed! Cymric for the last 20mins piled on the pressure and Memory Lane broke free and scored a good counter attack goal.

3-0 the final score. With only two games left to go Cymric 2nds need to gain at least 3 points in order to stay up in the 1st Division.
