Stamp Duty Threshold Raised

In his 10th annual budget on 22nd March, Gordon Brown announced a nominal rise in the stamp duty land tax threshold from £120,000 to £125,000.

Up to £125,000 nil
£125,001-£250,000 1%
£250,001-£500,000 3%
More than £500,000 4%
