CPS Homes first to join scheme

As we revealed in our September 2010 edition, CPS Homes became the first lettings agency in Cardiff to join Landlord Accreditation Wales - the principality's private rented sector scheme for landlords and agents.

Membership of Landlord Accreditation Wales provides local lettings agents, landlords and tenants with a best practice guarantee. However, in order to quality for accreditation, agents must already be a member of a recognised agent organisation. As CPS Homes is ARLA-accredited, we already comply with a clearly defined code of Government-endorsed standards.

Councillor Judith Woodman, Executive Member for Communities, Housing and Social Justice at Cardiff County Council had this to say...

"I am delighted that CPS Homes has joined the Landlord Accreditation Wales Scheme. The company's participation in the scheme clearly demonstrates its dedication to continually raising standards in the Welsh lettings sector. The scheme is a great way of safeguarding all those involved in the lettings process and with the additional credibility of the ARLA kitemark, there's no doubt that CPS Homes will continue to inspire customer confidence."
