Get it out for Cardiff - Rubbish collection for students

Keep Cardiff Tidy for the fifth year running are organising extra rubbish collection days for tenants moving out in June and July. This is run in partnership with UWIC, Cardiff Univeristy and the University of Glamorgan.

Cardiff County Council will be doing the extra collections on the following days: -

Friday 12th June - Saturday 13th June - Sunday 14th June - Friday 26th June - Saturday 27th June - Sunday 28th June - Monday 29th June

The Salvation Army will be collecting clothes, shoes, bags, belts, bedding and textiles on Saturday June 13 and June 27 only. This new service has been extended to 20 halls of residences across the city including 11 at Cardiff University, six at Liberty Living halls and two at UWIC. Charity bins will also be located at these halls throughout June, so students can continue to get rid of their unwanted items.

There is also the standard service for bulk items collection, which can be booked with Cardiff County Council for free on 029 2087 2087.

CPS Homes encourage their tenants to use this service, to help keep the neighbourhood clean and tidy.
