Meet the Team

Rhys Owen: Senior Lettings Negotiator; One of our longest serving members of staff, Rhys, born in North Wales, is one of our Welsh speakers. He is an experienced Lettings Negotiator and thrives on finding the right property for the customers. Rhys has a keen eye for property renovations and often advises Landlords on how to maximise the space and feel of a property to encourage better tenants and increased rents. His natural enthusiasm shows in both his commitment to work and outside of work where he led the 5-a-side football team most recently from bottom to top of the league table. Rhys has also represented Great Britain in shooting.

Brad Young: Lettings & Inspections Negotiator; Brad works from our Miskin Street Branch. After completing his Sports and Leisure Management degree last year, Brad has undergone a year of training and practical experience in Lettings and Inspections and is now proficient in both skills. As a recent former student, Brad has taken the lead on some of our advertising and sponsorship with local university students and societies. In his spare time he enjoys watching and playing rugby and football

Nikki Lewis: Senior Accounts Advisor; Nikki is an established member of the Accounts Department. Nikki joined CPS Homes over 3 years ago and his knowledge and skills in all aspects of Property Management in addition to accounts goes from strength to strength each year. Outside of work Nikki is a big Cardiff City fan often being spotted on the terraces at Ninian Park and plays for the CPS 5-a-side football team every week.

Vicky Kang: Administrative Assistant; Fluent in her native tongue of Chinese, Vicky is often called upon to assist with our Chinese tenants who come to study and live in Cardiff. Following a degree in Business Studies at Plymouth University, Vicky joined our Team 3 years ago and is now an established member of our Accounts Team at Head Office, working diligently as an Accounts Assistant. Outside of work Vicky enjoys going to the cinema and catching up with her friends from China over the social network sites.

Paz Patel: Accounts and Website administrator; Paz has been part of our Team for just over a year now and has already proven he is an invaluable staff member. He has a broad spectrum of duties, working as an Account Manager at Head Office, being a vital member of the Accounts Department and most recently overseeing the renovation of our CPS website. Our monthly Landlord Newsletter is also another string to his bow. Outside of work Paz is, like most Welsh boys, a huge rugby fan and rarely misses local or international games.

Marvina Elbasani: Customer Care & Account Manager; Marvina is experienced in all aspects of Customer Care and works within the Albany Rd Team to carry out various administration tasks, such as contract signings. Marvina is able to speak several different languages and ensures our non English speaking customers make the right decision. Marvina has taken the brave step of going back to university to study Psychology at Cardiff University, meaning she now works at CPS Homes on a part-time basis. She more than anyone understands the plight of students finding their first home and really works hard to ensure they and their Landlord get off on the right footing.

Natalie Thomas: Lettings & Inspections Negotiator; Since Natalie joined CPS Homes in 2007 she has become an essential part of the team at the Miskin Street Branch. Heading the Inspections side of our properties outside of Cardiff Bay, she ensures that Check In and Check Outs, in addition to our other inspections, run smoothly and all parties are treated fairly. This is an increasingly important side to Lettings especially with the Bond Legislation introduced in April 2007. Outside of work Natalie enjoys supporting her colleagues in the local 5-a-side football league which plays weekly and proclaims to be a bit of a pub quiz whizz!

Danielle Davies: Customer Care & Account Manager; A recent addition to our Albany Rd Team, Danielle has moved from her marketing role within her previous job and settled in well to her new surroundings in Property Management. The business skills acquired in her past role are certainly evident in her professional & customer service orientated manner. Born in Cardiff, she turned a few heads when she announced she was a Manchester United fan through and through, rather than a Cardiff City supporter.

Emilie James: Account Manager; Emile Joined CPS Home in August 2009. She has undertaken various administrative duties including signings, maintenance and landlord enquiries. Emilie also ensures that Gas Safety Certificates are up to date on all our letting properties to coincide with legislation.

Aysha Watkins: Lettings & Inspections Negotiator; Aysha joined CPS Homes in June 2009 with experience in training gained from a management position in Nintendo. Aysha has been working in CPS as a lettings negotiator. Similarly to our other negotiators, Aysha takes our prospective tenants on viewings throughout Cardiff and is able to negotiate aspects of a tenancy whilst providing valuable customer service. Aysha is fluent in Welsh, enjoys attended the gym, going to the cinema and shopping in her spare time.

Adia Fiaz: Account Manager; Adia has been a member of the CPS team since January 2009. Coming from a Pakistani background, Adia is fluent in her native language and is always willing to assist with customers from indo-subcontinent background whenever needed. Having born and brought up in Cardiff, she is well aware of the area and hence tries to provide her best possible input according to customer requirements. Apart from working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and being out and about.

Dave Maidment: Albany Road Assistant Manager; Dave graduated from UWIC with a 2:1 in business, and has worked in property and lettings for five years. With this level of experience in customer service, property lettings and management and extensive experience of areas throughout Cardiff, he is well placed to advise landlords and tenants alike. Out of work Dave has used his contacts to purchase an apartment in Cardiff Bay, and is a big sports fan; rugby, cricket and football.

Jessica Jones: Cardiff Bay Assistant Manager; Jessica has worked in the Cardiff Bay area for many years, and brings this experience to the Cardiff Bay office as assistant manager. She enjoys all aspects of the housing market especially being out and about on viewings and valuations. Jessica has a sports science degree and has been a personal trainer in the past and keeps the fitness up in her spare time.

Cale Ivins: Customer Care; Cale is an enthusiastic member of our maintenance team, liaising with contractors and tenants alike. He ensures any maintenance issue is dealt with quickly and professionally. Cale also deals with utility companies and Cardiff Council on a daily basis, ensuring that tenants are billed for the correct time period and landlords won't receive any bills they shouldn't be paying for. Outside of work Cale enjoys socialising with his friends.

Andrew Dillon: Cardiff Bay Branch Manager; Andrew has many years of experience within the Lettings Industry, both local and across the UK having worked within and alongside many of the UK's larger Lettings Agencies. Those of you more familiar with the Roath/Cathays/City Centre market may recognise Andrew from his time at CPS Homes Miskin St Branch, where he worked for 2 years before specialising in Cardiff Bay.

Anthony James: Lettings & Inspections Negotiator; Anthony is Head of Inspections at our Cardiff Bay Branch. He has also proven he has a good aptitude for Lettings Negotiation. In his spare time he enjoys keeping fit at the gym.

Lloyd Howell: Lettings & Inspections Negotiator; Lloyd works in the Miskin St Branch as a Lettings Negotiator. He is very enthusiastic when it comes to letting properties and enjoys helping tenants find the home most suited to them. Lloyd also carries out many of our periodic inspections - looking for property improvements and ensuring tenants are keeping the property in a good condition. Outside of work he enjoys watching Formula One racing.

Jim Towers: HMO & Licensable Property Administrator; Jim joined the team in February 2010, having studied Law at the University of Glamorgan. He is originally from Swindon, living most of his life there and attending school and college in Wiltshire. Jim is a huge ice hockey fan, and plays regularly with a number of teams in Cardiff. His overall ambition would be to play ice hockey to the highest standard possible, but failing that, he is keen to move into the world of property development.

Robyn Ivins: Lettings & Inspections Negotiator; Robyn joined CPS Homes in January 2010. She is very willing to help prospective and current tenants in all aspects of letting enquiries. She enjoys swimming and dancing in her spare time and has an ambition to go travelling.

Stephanie Bircham: Sales Negotiator; Stephanie is a recent addition the sales team, she moved to CPS Homes from one of our competitors with a vast amount of experience in sales and the buying process. She is originally from Somerset and in her spare time enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the gym and watching football (especially being an Arsenal fan).

Barrie James: Consultant; Barrie advises clients on everything from the buying the right property; renovating it to suit the market, to incorporating Council Regulations and ensuring the right investment return.

Emma Quin: Consultant; Emma has worked as part of the CPS Homes Team since it opened in 2000. She has dealt with all aspects of Property Management from Lettings & Maintenance to advising overseas landlords on tax regulations. Emma uses the financial skills gained from her Economics degree to ensure the smooth running of the business and our clients rental accounts. Emma is one of our Financial Directors and is always on hand to assist staff and Branch Managers with advice.
